Falcon Taxi is a young taxi-ordering service building its own visual identity.

Idea / need

Create a prototype and design of a mobile app that reflects concision, simplicity and speed, with a focus on key actions: address, tariff and payment method.

What we proposed and delivered

We designed a Falcon Taxi prototype and UI around "nothing extra between the user and the trip", including:

Simplified, clear UX: an intuitive taxi-order flow

Minimal UI design: visual cleanliness, contrast and speed of interaction

Prototype and design: a full cycle of prototyping and design showing the main screens and app functionality

Taxi market research: current trend analysis.

User research: surveys of potential passengers.

We researched top competitors: to build a product people actually need, it is critical to understand their needs and how successful competitors work.

How we worked: desk research (open sources) and in-depth interviews with about 10 respondents.

Value in the result: understanding key user needs (order speed, convenient payment, transparent tariffs) let us focus the prototype and design on the most important functions.

Prototype

An interactive Figma prototype was built, covering the structure:

Trip rating: screen for rating a completed trip

Authorization: simplified sign-in by phone number

Home screen: an interactive map with pickup and destination address input

Taxi order: confirm the order and wait for the driver

Design

A strict, modern concept was chosen:

Primary color: red and purple (as in the Falcon Taxi logo) - associated with energy and speed.

Additional color: white and grey - for backgrounds and UI, underlining cleanliness.
